Navan Named to CNBC’s World’s Top Fintech Companies 2026 List
The Navan Team

We’re thrilled to announce that Navan has been recognized on CNBC’s prestigious list of the World’s Top Fintech Companies for 2026. It’s the second time Navan has earned a spot on this list in the four years CNBC has been publishing it.
Curated by CNBC in partnership with independent market research firm Statista, the list charts the most influential fintech players across the globe. Ranging from agile startups to global giants, this list highlights the companies driving the next generation of financial innovation.
The recognition is a powerful testament to our industry-leading innovation and our commitment to simplifying all things travel and expense for modern businesses.
Leading the Charge in Enterprise Fintech
This year, Navan was named to the enterprise fintech list, a segment dedicated to serving businesses and financial institutions. It’s a category CNBC calls a “crucial part of how financial services operate today.”
Our inclusion in this specific segment underscores Navan’s core mission: Weaving advanced automation, intuitive user experiences, and real-time financial tracking into a single global platform so companies can move faster while keeping their books clean.
A Rigorous Evaluation Process
Earning a spot on this list is no small feat. Statista employs a highly rigorous, aggregated scoring model to evaluate thousands of eligible companies worldwide, and the final standings are based on an intricate weighting of both overarching business performance and segment-specific KPIs.
This year, Statista evaluated 3,500 companies and more than 25,000 data points.
Interestingly, this year’s list reflects how fast the landscape is changing. CNBC expanded its scope for 2026 to make regulation tech (companies helping businesses seamlessly navigate their financial compliance and regulatory obligations) its own standalone segment. The expansion highlights a broader industry shift: Modern finance is about making complex workflows smart, automated, and compliant.
What This Means for Navan
At Navan, we’ve always believed that business travel and expense management shouldn’t be an administrative headache.
Being recognized by CNBC and Statista reinforces our position at the forefront of the fintech revolution. This milestone belongs just as much to our incredible customers and partners as it does to us — their feedback and trust continue to push us to redefine what’s possible in T&E.
Looking Ahead
While we love celebrating milestones, we’re even more excited about what’s next. As we head deeper into 2026, our focus remains exactly where it has always been: driving real innovation, streamlining corporate workflows, and building a world-class platform that gives finance teams ultimate control and travelers an effortless experience.
