With great focus, determination, and years of hard work, Navan reached a major milestone on October 30, officially becoming a publicly traded company on Nasdaq under the ticker NAVN! This wasn’t just a financial event; it was the culmination of years of dedication, innovation, and passion from every single member of our global team.
To mark this thrilling event, our global offices came alive with celebrations — each reflecting a unique local flavor, yet all united by immense pride and excitement for the future.

The energy was electric across the U.S., kicking off with the main event in New York City. The day began with a company-wide celebratory All Hands hosted in the NYC office, where the building was packed with employees full of pride and excitement.
In a truly special moment, our partner, Brex, sent a marching band to mark the occasion with a surprise in-office performance!
Up in Midtown, a handful of our longest-tenured employees were invited to experience the event live on the Nasdaq floor. It was a great way for Navan to honor the commitment of these employees, and for them to bask in the glow of a once-in-a-lifetime moment surrounded by colleagues, leaders, and close friends of Navan.
“Walking into the fully packed NYC office was a powerful moment of reflection. The IPO always felt like a distant goal, but suddenly it was here. Getting to cheer with dozens of colleagues who shared this entire 6+ year journey with me is truly special; these are now lifelong connections built on this shared experience.” — Ben Agron, Director, Enterprise Customer Success (New York City)
Throughout the day, Navan ensured that all global employees were included in the celebrations, with live viewings of Nasdaq and Times Square. These broadcasts featured key events throughout the day, including the first trade, interviews with our executive staff, and the closing bell ceremony. Employees were even encouraged to send in photos to be featured on the towering Nasdaq display, creating an interactive way to unite our teams globally.
Each office hosted unique local celebrations that fostered a culture of unity and reflection. In San Francisco, teams gathered to pose for photos with a special Nasdaq podium. In Palo Alto, the viewing party included an on-site barista serving iced coffees topped with whipped cream dyed Navan purple. Dallas featured fun photo opportunities for employees to symbolically “ring the bell,” and Austin brought the party with an after-work speakeasy rooftop celebration.
“The day was an absolute blast! I remember joining when we were just a small startup, and to see us reach this milestone is something I will forever look back on with a lot of pride.” — Brianna Bybee, Senior Mid-Market Account Executive (San Francisco)
It was a day to celebrate the IPO and acknowledge the individual and collective efforts that made it possible — from the newest hire to our longest-tenured veterans.

The celebrations continued across the Navan offices in EMEA. Each adopted its own approach to celebrate the day, but all shared the same unwavering enthusiasm.
In Lisbon, the team embraced a New York theme, starting with an authentic bagel breakfast and branded swag giveaways. The Tel Aviv office hosted a vibrant, themed watch party complete with flight-related props, festive balloons, branded cupcakes, and — befitting a watch party — lots of different kinds of popcorn.
“The energy was unmatched! Celebrating this milestone alongside my teammates who’ve been on the same journey was proof that our hard work pays off. The best is yet to come.” — Jax Sassine, Senior Manager, Travel Services (Lisbon)
Teams in London and Paris gathered for celebratory catered meals and hosted watch parties for the All Hands, continuing the festivities into the evening with private spaces for colleagues to reflect on the monumental day.
Perhaps the most unique celebration took place in Berlin, where the team rented a bus for a “memory lane” drive, making pit stops at former Navan office locations before ending at the current office to stream the closing bell-ringing ceremony.
“I’m excited to double down on execution and scalability—turning our growth into something consistently repeatable—and to see our teams take real pride in building the next chapter as a public company.” — Julia Jansen-Mannes, Vice President, Account Management, EMEA (Berlin)
The camaraderie was strong, with teams sharing their pride as part of a truly global success story that’s poised to make an even greater impact ahead.

For our teams in the APAC region, the IPO day was filled with immense excitement and a shared sense of accomplishment.
“It was an amazing point of reflection. I felt quite privileged that I’ve seen Navan go through so many chapters, and I felt very proud of my team and my region for all the challenges we overcame, the stories we can now tell, and the place we can be proud of.” — Laura Cochran, Senior People Success Business Partner, APAC (Sydney)
In Sydney, colleagues celebrated in style with a catered breakfast viewing party, complete with a toast and celebratory cakes. Teams across India also embraced the spirit, as dedicated celebratory moments with catered food provided time for colleagues to reflect on our journey and the phenomenal work that brought us to this milestone.
“I am genuinely thrilled for this 'graduation' into a more mature company. The IPO signals a new chapter with even greater resources, responsibilities, and scale—positioning us all for even greater success.” — Thiagarajan Rajagopalan, VP, India - Product (Bengaluru)
The celebrations in APAC underscored the region’s crucial role in our company’s journey and future success while reinforcing the idea that every contribution was vital, no matter where it originated.
While the global celebrations varied in style and timing, the underlying emotions were universal: immense pride, enormous gratitude, and renewed determination. After all, the IPO represents a monumental new beginning — a validation of our mission and the incredible people who make Navan what it is.
This new chapter will bring greater visibility, increased opportunities for growth, as well as an even stronger foundation to continue innovating. We step into this public company journey with a shared vision and the collective strength of our global team.
Here’s to the journey ahead. Let’s go!
