Pendo is a software company on a mission to elevate the world’s experience with software through powerful analytics and in-app guidance. As senior director of global accounting, Kylee Bloodworth explained, Pendo’s growth and global footprint demanded a solution that could support employees wherever they work, while giving finance real-time control and visibility.

Since implementing Navan, Pendo has reduced administrative overhead while improving the employee experience.
On the finance side, automation has changed how expenses are managed. As Bloodworth explains, “We previously had to review every single expense report,” said Bloodworth. “Now, thanks to auto-approval of expenses within our thresholds, we save at least ten hours each week. Plus, employees are reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses with five days of approval, which is much faster than before.” Another perk: Navan’s real-time dashboards give finance immediate visibility into spend. The team can now “keep a pulse on where money is being spent in real time,” said Bloodworth, rather than waiting until month-end close. Also, built-in controls make it easy to show that every expense is approved within company thresholds, supporting audit readiness.
Traveling employees have also embraced the platform: 83% use Navan on mobile, and they give the experience a 92% customer satisfaction (CSAT) score.
Navan also supports large-scale programs for Pendo’s marketing and events teams. Laura Baverman, VP of corporate communications, highlights how Navan streamlines travel for major events like Pendo’s annual company kickoff and its annual customer conference, Pendomonium.
“Pendomonium brings about 2,000 customers to Raleigh, along with 250 to 300 of our employees,” said Baverman, “and Navan makes it incredibly easy to manage all of that travel in one place so our teams can focus on supporting customers instead of logistics.”
