Navan Springs Forward with Powerful Product Updates

Winters can be long, and it can take time for some T&E companies to come out of winter hibernation.

Not at Navan. As we barrel toward a busy summer business travel season, here are the product updates we’ve released — all in the name of making travel easy for every frequent traveler.

  • Redesigned flight booking experience. Navan has always been out in front on travel personalization, especially in the flight booking process. And we increased our advantage this spring by redesigning our flight booking experience to feature easier filtering, clearer fare displays (key details at a glance!), and a more responsive design in order to help travelers make faster decisions.
  • More and more NDC. We’ve already proven just how effective our NDC connections are at saving our customers money, and we continue to up our game in this area. We currently have 18 live connections that now include Iberia and Breeze — and more are on the way.
  • Advanced analytics. The most powerful stories are those backed by data, which is we’ve always made real-time data a centerpiece of our solution. Now we’ve taken that idea to a new level with our new analytics capabilities, powered by ThoughtSpot. With a clear dashboard and interactive widgets, you’ll be able to clearly see more than 100 data points, in real time, and quickly pull together a story that used to require a team of data scientists.
  • Updated mobile experience. Making booking easier is also why we completely redesigned mobile bookings for flights and hotels on iOS. Our intuitive new interface guides travelers seamlessly from search to checkout, with easier comparisons along the way. And because it’s just as important to manage expenses on the go, we redesigned our iOS and Android expense experience for easier navigation.
  • Uber for Business. We mean business, especially when it comes to streamlining expenses. Our new Uber for Business integration automatically matches Uber receipts to transactions and uploads them right after your ride.
  • Upgraded mileage tracking. We breathed new life into our mileage tracker, giving it more precise distance calculations and rates more closely aligned with regional regulations, so employees can get reimbursed faster.
  • Accounting Review page update. This page now better supports accrual-based accounting by syncing reimbursements into your ERP based on transaction date (in beta). We also added new filters for more customized control and better cash flow visibility. And we made month-end close speedier with bulk actions; now you can edit and apply up to 50 changes at once.

At Navan, we never go into winter hibernation. We’re always innovating, always tinkering, always figuring out ways to make life better for our customers. This spring was no different, and we’re not stopping there. Stay tuned for more exciting new features on Navan this quarter!
