Gipper ditches TravelPerk and Expensify for Navan's all-in-one travel, expense, and corporate card solution.
Gipper, a graphic design platform made for sports administrators in K–12 schools and collegiate athletic departments, has 36 remote employees in the United States and an additional 27 employees in India. With a significant portion of them traveling to attend scholastic conferences and promote Gipper, the need for a user-friendly travel and expense solution became more urgent. Making the company’s situation worse was that prior to Navan, Gipper’s COO was managing travel for the entire company. That was not only unsustainable but a poor use of the COO’s time.
So Brooklyn Picard, Gipper's partnership activations coordinator, set out to find a better but also cost-effective travel, expense, and corporate card solution for the company.

“It was so easy,” Picard said. “After watching a couple of videos, I understood it perfectly.” Within five days of signing up for the all-in-one solution, Gipper employees had received their corporate cards and could start self-booking travel.
"I’m now the star of the company because of Navan. It’s just made everyone’s lives so much easier," said Picard.
"I’m able to click one button and see the trip and all associated expenses. That’s it. Compared to viewing every expense report, adding them all up, locating and cross-checking each receipt…it saves me an insane amount of time. Without Navan, managing the travel aspect of things would probably be my sole responsibility,” shared Picard.
Navan’s enabled us to get out in front of customers like we never had before. Those in-person opportunities are so instrumental for our team...our close rate from in-person interactions is almost 100 percent. Being able to do that is one of the biggest things for our company.
